I was asked by those good people at the British Institute of Learning Disabilities to deliver a presentation on the Mental Capacity Act and reducing restrictive practice. It was the annual PSB conference, the year was 2014 and it was held in Brighton. I decided to concentrate on a famous court case called 'The Blue Room', where a boy was being secluded on a daily basis without any legal authority. It's a really interesting and insightful case.
